Wholesale 20m Automatic Retractable Extension Cord Reel with 180° Swivel Wall Mount and Portable Handle

A long extension cord can be useful while working, but inconvenient once the job is finished. Instead of repeatedly gathering and untangling loose cables, you can keep your working area organized with an automatic retractable extension cord reel.

The HF Patios reel features a compact enclosed housing in dark grey with bold yellow details. The reel uses an H07RN-F rubber cable, offering a flexible electrical connection for compatible equipment. The supplied configuration includes a 20m extendable cable, a 2m input lead, and an EU Schuko-type connection. Its wall-mounted arrangement helps keep unused cable off the ground, making it a practical addition to garages, workshops, and suitable garden maintenance workspaces.

The retractable mechanism lets you extend the electrical cable according to your working distance, helping reduce unnecessary loose cable around the workspace. Unlike a fixed-direction cable outlet, this reel incorporates a swivel mounting bracket that rotates up to 180°. Whether you're moving between different work positions or accessing equipment on either side of a workspace, the rotating bracket provides greater freedom of movement.

Q: Do you need to rewind the cable manually after every use?

No. You can pull the cable to your preferred length and lock it in position. When you're finished, a gentle tug releases the mechanism and activates automatic retraction. Guide the cable during rewinding for controlled storage.

Q: Can you move the reel when changing work locations?

The built-in carrying handle makes the housing easier to lift and transport when detached from its mounting bracket according to the installation instructions.

Q: Can this reel be used outdoors?

Its suitability depends on the verified electrical protection rating, installation conditions, and connected equipment. The IP rating and maximum electrical load should be confirmed before specifying outdoor applications.

Q: How should you clean the cable reel?

Disconnect it from the power supply and wipe the housing with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid immersing the unit or exposing electrical connections to cleaning liquids.

Maintenance and Long-Term Convenience

Inspect the cable, plug, and socket before use. Keep electrical connections away from water, disconnect the power before cleaning, and follow the rated-load and cable-unwinding instructions to reduce overheating risks.
